Dhruv Baker

dhruv1Dhruv began his career in food after winning MasterChef 2010. Born in Mexico and raised in India prior to moving to the UK in 1989, he was fortunate enough to be exposed to a myriad of culinary influences from an early age.

After a 10 year career as a sales director he has finally pursued his dream of a career in food. Dhruv has worked in some of the UK’s finest restaurants including Le Gavroche, The Kitchin and Helene Darroze at the Connaught. A regular at the BBC Good Food Shows, he is also a presenter on Waitrose TV, a regular contributor for numerous publications and a brand consultant. Dhruv has also completed his first book, which is being published by Orion and due for release in July 2014.

Adam has spent his entire working life in hospitality. The son of an Italian restaurateur, his passion for food, drink and service was founded working in the popular Fulham eatery, Little Italy. A cocktail bar course was a logical next step and having worked in numerous West End and local bars, Adam decided to go it alone and started Let Me Entertain You in 2000, one of London’s first cocktail bar services.

Over the years the company grew into a catering and events business serving numerous venues and countless private functions in the London area. Having worked alongside Dhruv for the past couple of years, the Jolly Gardeners concept was born over a bottle of wine or two!

stevie1Stephen Robb

Our general manager Stephen has been working in the industry for well over 20 years ( sorry Stevie!). He was the first head bartender at Quaglino’s back in the 90’s and then moved onto some other top London establishments including Harvey Nichols, Bank Group, China Tang at the Dorchester.

Most recently he spent 8 years managing The Union, a private members club in Soho. With all this experience, we’re very lucky to have Stevie on board and we’re sure you’ll enjoying chewing the fat with him over your first drink or two.

After spending his younger years working in Piccola Italia for his father, Luke’s inner nerd couldn’t be tamed and his career ended up in marketing via the banking world.

Although now an avid home chef, he won’t be taking over the reins from Dhruv and Marco any time soon you’ll all be pleased to know!
